RBC Hedge 250 Index, the representative benchmark of the performance of the hedge fund industry is delighted to sponsor the triangular 20/20 cricket tournament at Hedgestock. Real or imagined cricketers representing fund managers, allocaters and others, are taking to the field as Hunters, Gatherers and Scavengers, all desperate to showcase their skills or lack thereof...The matches will be played at Knebworth Park Cricket Club with play commencing from midday on 7th and 8th June.

The RBC Alternative Asset Group, the creators of RBC Hedge 250 Index, have been long standing promoters of the game in the industry and have been leveraging their selection skills in the hope that the Gatherers can restore some pride after a particularly dismal performance in 2005. The action in front of the white screens promises to keep the crowds on the edges of their deckchairs.
